I stayed two nights at this small hotel located on the main square in Sovana. Although the staff spoke little English they were welcoming and helpful. My room was small but quite adequate and the en-suite shower room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The shower was a good size (I hate those little box showers you often get in budget hotels). The dinner menu was good local fare, well cooked and presented, and there was a reasonable breakfast buffet. There is a secluded terrace at the rear of the hotel where it was a delight to dine. Read moreThe couple who run this hotel (we were the only people staying) made us very welcome even though they speak no English and I manage "menu" Italian. We had a drink in their lovely warm little courtyard to start with before moving into the restaurant. The food was fine as was breakfast (no fruit though) Our room was at the back and had its own small terrace with a good view.
