La Balena Bianca — Restaurant in Vallecrosia

We had a birthday lunch with a table of 14 people. We all enjoyed the food and the service from the waiter that was really fast and polite, but I have to say that the waiting time for the food to be served was too slow. As a chef myself I do understand how long it takes to plate 14 dishes nicely decorated and all looking the same , this is not an excuse, starting lunch at 12.30 and finishing almost at 5 p.m. But just to rehiterate food was 👍 service was 👍 food coming out of the kitchen not so good. Overall I would go again for a meal as it could have been just an issue with staffing on the day. Also we were seating by the windows and it was sunny and there were no blinds on the windows , some guests had to wear sunglasses at the table. P.S. We happened to drive past this restaurant and thought it looked chic. The food is of an exceptionally high standard. Understandable because the chef, Bianca, has had a whole career behind her. Was soll der Gaukler zu diesem Ristorante Besuch nur sagen... zunächst fing alles ganz harmlos an, wir bestellten unsere Pizza (mit Zeichensprache, da Personal kaum Englisch spricht) Dann kam die Pizza alles super, alles lecker... wir orderten die Rechnung und das Essen bekam einen bitteren Nachgeschmack... uns wurde 4x 1,50€ Serviczio Gebühr raufgerechnet! Der Gaukler machte seinem Namen alle Ehre und legte nur das hin für das er auch zahlen musste. Mit einem Lachen rannten er und seine Begleiterin aus dem Lokal,zum stehen kam der Gaukler und seine Begleitung kurz nachdem Tunnel... dann ging alles ganz schnell ein schwarzes Motorrad hielt neben dem Gaukler an und machte ihm klar, dass er noch zu zahlen habe... Eine Fluchtmöglichkeit gab es nicht, zumal der linke Flip Flop unseres Gauklers bei der schnellen Flucht zuvor auseinandergefallen ist. Also blieb dem Gaukler nur der Gang zurück in die Betrugshöhle... in der Taverne angekommen, versuchte der Gaukler die Situation zu klären, es kam heraus, dass die 4x Serviczio deutlich zu viel waren und letzendlich nur 2€ zu wenig bezahlt wurden, als die Schulden beglichen waren, ging der Gaukler erhobenen Hauptes aus dem Ristorante, weiß aber auch, dass er dort nie wieder seine Pizza...
