Caffetteria degli Argenti — Restaurant in Venaria Reale

The Reggia is wonderful. We really appreciated our visit there. We were sad to find that every bistrot and creamerie inside was closed. We would have appreciated to have lunch inside the Reggia. We finally made our way back to the only bar open inside the Reggia and had some drinks outside. There was no table service, but we asked for a tray and took the drinks outside ourselves on one of the tables on the balcony. Some minutes later we gathered our glasses on the tray and started to make our way back inside to give them back at the bar, but there were a lot of people crowding the doors. We saw that the waiter was cleaning the tables so we decided to leave him the tray to avoid breaking the glasses. He complained and as we were going away he called us "Sluts". This happened on March 19th, 12am if this help identify the waiter. I'd like to point out that it's not a customer's duty to tidy the tables,but it was only a courtesy on our part, and if this guy is not happy with his work he can quit and find something else. I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to come with chicken, tomato, and mayonnaise, as described on the menu. However, it only had chicken, and it was served cold. Location bellissima, ma servizio al cliente pessimo. Qualche giorno fa ho voluto festeggiare il mio compleanno con una colazione tra amici al bar degli argenti della Reggia. Dal momento che io sono celiaca e una delle mie amiche vegana, mi sono preoccupata con largo anticipo di telefonare per sapere se fossero informati in tal senso. Mi è stato detto che si poteva comunicare solo tramite mail, quindi è iniziato uno scambio di mail al termine del quale mi è stato detto che avrebbero avuto qualcosa. Quel "qualcosa" si è rivelato niente per me celiaca e un cappuccino con latte vegetale per la mia amica vegana. Direi che per un bar sempre molto frequentato non è un bel servizio per i clienti, soprattutto perché ormai biscotti o simili senza glutine confezionati (non pretendevo il prodotto fresco di pasticceria!) e croissant vengano si trovano ovunque!
