We didn't get our food after more than an hour and a half wait. We got there as the 4th table and ordered our foor, after us many people came in (a whole tourist group as it was the only restaurant open at the time - new years day evening), we got our drinks and after that everyone was getting food before us, especially people that ordered pizza as it seems they have a frozen pizza base and just add other ingredients and that was the easiest for them. We ordered gluten free pasta (they do have many gluten free food and desert options) but after more than an hour 1 plate arrived with normal pasta and they took it back right away. half an hour later the other pasta order came with the correct pasta which was a mediocre meal. The second order didn't arrive in time for us to eat it, we had to go back to our boat :( Hungry and angry we left, the staff apologized and we did get our drinks for free but still it was a very bad experience. Plus other from our tourist group didn't get their meals, and 1 woman got sick...
Read moreWe had a fantastic dining experience at Ai Pescatori in Burano! The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, perfectly blending authentic Venetian charm with friendly hospitality.
The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The seafood was especially memorable, clearly prepared with care and using the freshest local ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious and captured the essence of Burano’s culinary tradition.
The staff were attentive and warm, making us feel right at home, and the service was excellent throughout our meal. Combined with the lovely setting of Burano, it made for a truly special experience.
I would highly recommend Ai Pescatori to anyone visiting Burano — whether for a relaxed lunch or a memorable dinner, it’s a...
Read moreWe came ahead of our group when it was almost empty and ordered 2 gluten free spaghetti meals. After an hour we got one of them, but not gluten free. They took it away. After another half hour we got the other meal. It was very scarce in sea food, had some sos and the gluten free pasta, it was mediocre at best. We got up after an hour and 45 minutes because we had to go, the second meal was arriving but we haven't had time to eat anymore. They apologised and bought us drinks we had (the prosecco was fine). While we understand that they had a rush, and appreciate the apology, we feel that we were discriminated in light of customers that came after us and ordered pizza which was simpler for them. We left hungry and...
