Amazing store with great owners. Don’t be fooled by the cheaper and more common products on the exterior. I was initially nervous to see it until I walked inside and spoke with the owner and his sister.

They are the most honest and kind vendors I have met in my entire trip to Venice. The owner showed me his masks which his sister makes in house and said that certain inventory was real and certain inventory imported. He explained in detail the process of making masks and his sister showed us how Burano lace is made. They also taught us how to tell the difference in value between different qualities of lace. We finally ended up buying our first masks here and are coming back tomorrow to purchase some lace here.

Une boutique formidable. Les masques sont faits mains, avec amour et surtout, avec passion. La dame qui nous a accueilli a pris le temps de nous expliquer la signification de chaque masque en nous retraçant l’histoire de chacun et leur importance dans l’histoire vénitienne. Seulement de passage, nous avons finalement acheté un masque de chat absolument splendide à nos yeux. Nous en avions déjà acheté un quelques jours auparavant dans une autre boutique à Venise mais nous n’avons pas pu résister à celui-ci… Le prix, qui peut paraître élevé pour certaines personnes, est largement justifié par la qualité du travail.
