Very disappointing and frustrating experience that only got worse progressively.. Initially a waiter told us to sit wherever we wanted and when we chose a clean table he told us we could not sit there and to sit at a table that was not yet cleaned (why would anyone choose an un-cleaned table to sit at). Not a problem for us, but then things continually got bad. It took forever for any one to serve us and when our waiter came he seemed unfocused and kept looking around elsewhere and seemed to be frustrated when we asked questions about the menu. Any reasonable/more upscale restaurant (as their prices suggest more upscale) should have waitstaff that caters to you to make sure your dining experience is pleasant. This waiter did not do that. We tried to order drinks and he walked away and then had to ask for them 20 minutes later as we watched multiple tables receive their food and drinks before us. We ordered a small appetizer that we specifically asked for before our meal and we had to wait for almost an hour for our food- we had to ask multiple staff members where it was - and apparently they brought it to the wrong table. At one point my husband and I were ready to get up leave and pay for the drinks because we waited so long for our food and it was as if we were being ignored. Our waiter never once came over to check on us (again any reasonable waitstaff would be very apologetic) and then they tried to argue that the app would be brought out at the same time as our meal which we never asked for.. it seemed everyone working there had no clue as to what was going on and everyone was frazzled. Our waiter then finally apologized and said we could get drinks on the house- did we ever receive those? No. We also ordered a veggie dish which never came either and when we got the final bill they did end up taking that off along with our original drinks- the LEAST they could do for what was probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The only saving grace was that the food was very tasty- which is sad because the service is completely unprofessional. We were so happy to finally leave. Save your money and...

The WORST place in Venice to eat!!! Be AWARE. They treat their customers like garbage. They obviously don’t like tourists. I never write negative reviews, but I couldn’t pass the humiliation they have put my husband, me and our son tonight. Probably the most horrible Pizza Place stop we went to in the whole world.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Trattoria Ai Cacciatori earlier before we went to “THIS PIZZA hub”. However they didn’t have pizza, and our son felt like a love hearted, warm and crispy true Italian Pizza. So after we finished our dinner we decided to enjoy dessert and pizza for our son at another local restaurant. That’s how we ended up HERE! And what a terrible experience. After we sat at the table the waiter came up to us and took our order, for one Margarita Pizza and two desserts. And GUESS WHAT???? The waiter came back and said that his “BOSS” told him that we CANNOT seat at the table, and order only Pizza a desserts, because there is other people are waiting. To tell you we were shocked, says nothing. We were absolutely blown away by RUDENESS of this BUSINESS. Pardon my language WHAT THE WHAT???? So they literally refused serving us food because it’s a …. Hmmm FOOD??? Oh, and just for your information, there was NO PEOPLE OUTSIDE, because it was thunder with the rain, it would be unsafe to be OUTSIDE at that moment. And not a single person waited for a table inside. Everyone was seated at their tables and eating their food. Also they had at least 13 people capacity left in their hub.

We traveled all around Europe. And we NEVER HAD SUCH AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Maybe they feeding...

Great canal-front location with a lovely view across the water to the south facades of Dorsoduro. We wanted pizza and the food was fine. There was some grit in my spinach salad, seemingly not washed thoroughly. We were enjoying it though until dessert when suddenly the staff seemed to be overrun (a bit odd as there were many of them and it wasn’t that busy), and we waited AGES for one (small) portion of tiramisu. After reminding our friendly waiter once he said “I know, I’ll do it soon” and 30 mins wait later we asked to cancel the tiramisu and just get the bill as we’d waited long enough. He then brought the dessert and said it had been made already and that it would be “on the house”. So we ate it anyway, seemed fair after the massive wait. Then it got worse as the bill came with the tiramisu in it, he tried to get it taken off but he was overridden by his presumedly boss, who then basically came to the table and tried to humiliate us claiming that we ate it so we had to pay for it, totally ignoring our explanations and not listening to us. It was really rude and embarrassing. Reading other comments here I see that we are not the only ones and I would say there is disrespect for tourists, perhaps even racism as we watched an elderly coloured couple be told there was no room outside and be sent inside (the only ones) then a young “beautiful” couple be given the waterfront table despite not having booked. Not a good atmosphere at all and I sadly would not recommend and this is very...

Seafood was good but everything else was pretty poor. House wine was "fizzy" and seemed to be mixed with half flat lemonade. Some of the waiters were a little rude and requests seemed to be too much hassle for them to deal with. I ordered lasagne which arrived cold and had clearly not been warmed up enough in the microwave! I sent it back and received exactly the same piece 5 minutes later scalding hot after a long blitz in the microwave which killed any flavour there might be left. We skipped desert as didn't want to waste any more money. Would definitely not recommend given the sheer number of alternatives in the area. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is the quality of seafood dishes my wife ate. Normally don't like to go by reviews on Google and TripAdvisor alone but this time I wished I had followed the advice of the crowd. Avoid

This is a great little restaurant that is close to the Hilton. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you want an easy place to walk to. We ate here twice during our stay at the Hilton. The Chateaubriand is great. We also tried another steak called fiorentina (T-Bone) that we shared on the second night. Both dishes come with grilled vegetables. The lasagna is also great. We didn't order fish. There is no need to get the steamed veggies or roast potatoes. The steamed vegetables were not that great. The roast potatoes were good. The service is OK, not great. You do have to be assertive about asking for plates with your bread.

Disappointing. My friend and I ordered lamb cutlets and rib-eye steak. When the dishes arrived the potatoes were cool. We sent the plates back. When they arrived again the lamb was slightly bland whereas the steak was virtually inedible. The waiter, upon ordering, never asked how I wanted it. Bad sign. In the eventuality it was tough and dry. In addition it was not even a rib-eye. It was a different cut. My serious recommendation is to avoid this place for one big reason; the mistakes were avoidable. They were made by bad cookery. Nothing else.
