Might have been the nicest bathroom I’ve ever been to in Italy, a solid 9/10. You might be asking, is this guy really writing a review about the bathroom at one of the most renown modern art exhibits? Yes I am. I can acknowledge it is probably my fault or the fault of my upbringing the only art I can appreciate is a split axial Pratt and Whitney turbine engine or the roaring exhaust of a turbocharged supermoto but I can appreciate a superior bathroom facility. The locking mechanism was effective, the toilet seats were clean, a common municipal sink room led the way to clearly identifiable vacant or not vacant style bathroom doors. As well as the main villa itself and the added buildings, the gardens are also beautiful and well maintained. It was lovely walking around the sculpture garden. The terrace is a lovely spot to sit and ponder and the museum cafe, which makes a great coffee, and gift shop with free WiFi are also lovely.
Entry tickets are a little expensive however, definitely worth a visit when you're in Venice. Given the multitude of Renaissance art throughout Italy, the Guggenheim Museum gives one a very pleasant change and experience. A unique gallery, highly recommended.
Tips: It's a small place and gets really busy during peak tourist season so to beat much of the crowd, get there in the morning.
