It was getting a bit late so I didn’t want to venture too far but I was starving having not eaten lunch. Waiter Took ages to arrive but was very friendly. It seems that he was very friendly with every table. After taking my order he proceeded to chat with the next table for 10 minutes rather than taking my order to the kitchen.
When my plate came it looked good but unfortunately my spaghetti alle vongole had zero taste. Shame. I had to add cheese and chili oil just to make it taste of anything at all. Last thing I expect in Italy. At least the pasta was decently cooked.
Also I asked for a bottle of sparkling water but they brought me a bottle of still water. When I pointed out the mistake, the waiter who had brought it grumpily asked if I won’t drink the still water. Only when I said no did he take it away and bring the correct bottle.
Last issue is the patrons. Two separate tables insisted on playing loud music at their tables on their mobile phones. One of them played The BeeGees on repeat. I didn’t complain as this is clearly a restaurant in a part of town where people don’t know how to behave in public. A terrible disappointment and I can’t...

We did ask several times as to when we would expect any food, and they did apologise and said that it was on its way!!
Honestly, l believe we should have ordered pizza or pasta, as these were coming out way quicker than our food.
We had scallops (no membrane taken off one of them), ribe eye, and venetian liver. It was all fairly average.
If we ever went again, l wouldn't choose a Saturday night and stick to pizza/pasta.
Staff were lovely, but it got to the point where they wouldn't look in...
Read moreTourist trap with the most disgusting pizza in Italy. This place needs to drag itself into the 21st century and for 2 euros pp cover charge at least provide fresh and pure tap water (from the Alps apparently) instead of cloth napkins. I mean this is a Pizza restaurant! Ordered a 'Patatine'(?)/ potato pizza and this is what I got. A plain pizza with a pile of French Fries on top! Wrote a more detailed review on Trip Advisor. But 25 euros for a French Fry Pizza and Squid Ink Pasta with no drinks. Tell me you can't get better value everywhere else in Mestre. Stuck going there because most places closed on Sunday. Don't make the...
