Family restaurant, small with a cosy feeling. The owners = an old couple are the only staff there. The lady cooks food like your mother (if your mother were Italian :) ) and her husband serves the customers. We ate there two nights in a row: spaghetti with sea fruits, calamari ragu with polenta, caprese salad, eggs with truffles, tiramisu, viel ragu with potatoes (I am not sure that is the right name for this food), orata fish, cheese and meat appetisers, all with the house wine (white) - demi sweet and pleasant. We came back the second night because we wanted to try more of their food. DELICIOUS! If you want to eat good Italian food, without any of the perks and superficialities of the big and expensive restaurants, go there. You pay reasonable prices for good food. Don't go there if you want to impress your followers on Instagram with your glamourous adventures. This is a restaurant for reasonable people who like to eat real Italian food and pay a correct price for it. Keep in mind that there is no additional staff besides the old couple so be patient. If it is not a busy night, the food is served in approx. 20 min. Don't make a fuss about the bill. These people won't rip you up and they work hard to serve good food and keep the place running. Eat, enjoy, pay and continue...
Read moreI would give 0 star if I could. The server was great but it was about a guy from the kitchen, possibly the owner. Ordered a spaghetti asked if they can add calamari, the server said they couldnt but the guy from the kitchen came out and said yes. The pasta was ok compared to other pastas i have tried elsewhere, it wasn't superb. Clams were not even good quality, and the calamari wasn't even the whole chunk like I would normally get elsewhere. It was a chopped, over cooked, hard spoonful of it, literally. When I asked for a check, they added additional 11 euro for that spoonful of calamari. When i called the man and asked if he thinks it was reasonably priced, he did not answer but ran away into the kitchen, instructed the server to give me some change of coins (dont even know how much, didnt even count since i was just curious it it was reasonably charged or not). Then she hurridly asked me to leave. I obviously didnt take the money but it was a horrible experience and almost felt like i...
Read moreGood food, but terrible service. There was a waiter who didn’t understand any English or Spanish and kept shouting the whole time, showing a complete lack of manners and professionalism. He didn’t know how to deal with customers.
We were a group of five; three wanted to eat, and the rest just wanted tea with tiramisu. When he found out, he started shouting that it wasn’t allowed and told us to go to a local bar, saying that’s not how things are done in Italy, accompanied by racist comments. This completely ruined our impression of the country, as it was our first time here.
Additionally, when we asked for olive oil, he brought a plate with a tiny amount, which we considered disrespectful. To top it off, we were charged for the service for everyone.
The most annoying part was the extremely rude remarks from the waiter, who eventually insulted us by telling us to go back to our country.
I wanted to leave this comment for anyone considering this place for a peaceful meal:...
