I got the hot chocolate with cream, and oh my gosh!! It is nothing you could get back home in the US. It is thick and rich and perfect on a cold day. We also got a chocolate crescant, which was pretty good too. I come here from time to time. Here's some info for the people with dietary restrictions like me : there are around three choices of plant based milk for your coffee (not unusual for Italian café nowadays but it's worth mentioning) and more importantly there are some vegan croissants (you need to come the morning or else these are sold out).

Mi sono recato presso il bar Caffè Vergnano 1882 di Ventimiglia per prendere un caffè. La struttura si trova lungo una via del centro cittadino a due passi dalla stazione ferroviaria. L'interno del locale è molto ben organizzato gli arredi sono curati, la luce soffusa crea una atmosfera molto caratteristica. Il personale presente è cortese e disponibile oltreché professionalmente preparato. Il caffè che ho preso, vista l'ora, era decaffeinato ma credetemi sembrava un ottimo caffè normale.
