Geppy's bistrot s.r.l. — Restaurant in Ventimiglia

We went to Italy just for lunch and this was the perfect place. 1 minute from the station which is a real plus. Clientele seems rather local and the servers were very patient in explaining everything to us on the menu (and properly masked too). We got a black pasta with fresh tuna, green pasta, and swordfish steak. All were very very tasty. I also got 3 deserts, hey when you cross the border you gotta make it count right?! Tiramisu was good, the mascapone cheese was the best I've ever had. The gelato with strudal and the pastry with fruits were all good. 3 entrees, 1 wine, 1 coffee, 3 desserts was a total of 62 euros. Very high quality food. We were happy with our lunch and took the train back to France...

We went to the Friday market, and stopped by here for lunch. We were craving pasta!

Both indoor and outdoor seating available, restaurant really busy with lunch, mostly full tables. We were able to walk-in with no reservation.

Only reason why it’s 3 star is because the service was sub-par. The tables around us who got sat after us all got their food before we did, must have forgot our order or something. Didn’t stop by to take our drink order for a while, and didn’t want to check in on us until the food was served. We were not able to order a second round of drinks, you basically need to yell at the waiter to get his attention.

Food was good, but not worth waiting over 45 minutes for...

The food is amazing and service is super friendly! They were really busy for lunch when i was there, but all of the staff helped each other out, they are quite a team! I had the ravioli with mushrooms and sausage and it was so flavorful/yummy. My friend had the lamb w/beans, also amazing flavors, wine and dessert were super too. I highly recommend eating here, it's only a block away from the main train station in Ventimiglia, and only an hour train ride from Nice...definitely worth...
