On a trip to Nice, me and a couple of friends decided to go to Ventemigla as we had never been to Italy. After walking around a bit and admiring the view, we decided to get some authentic Italian food, and as we were walking around, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The atmosphere immediately drew us in, as it was obvious that this was a small, family-ran restaurant. We ordered Carbonara and Ragu. While I didn't have the Carbonara, I can confidently say that the Ragu was delicious; all of the flavours were evenly balanced, the pasta was tender and it felt really creamy while not being greasy at all. The customer service was also spectacular, with our waitress accommodating us and our lack of Italian and the owner himself coming to speak with us and ask about our stay. The food at the restaurant was absolutely lovely! Per my dad, the cheese in the lasagna just melted in his mouth and was one of the best he had ever had. Even something as simple as a small salad was absolutely delicious!
The limoncello was delicious and came in these cute little glasses that I almost wanted to take them home with us.
