La Vecchia Napoli — Restaurant in Ventimiglia

There were 10 minutes between the serving of my wives spaghetti and my calzone pizza. The spaghetti was tastless and the calzone was covered in oil. I've never had a calzone that tasted that bad. So we decided to drink our coffee somewhere else. I asked for the bill but the chef was too busy walking through the restaurant smoking and being populair. I waited for 10 minutes before I asked him if I should pay or leave without. His reaction: 'I'm from Napoli'. Mine: 'I'm not.' Lousy restaurant, lousy food...

Small resto with to much table and peoples. The serving was not so nice, they rushed us to place the order. My wife had to change the diaper of my child, they doesnt wanted to wait for it. The restroom is small. Ist okay for a pub, but this is a resto... No baby chair... The food was good, but we wanted to take away 2 pizzas, but they gave us just one. One half pizza in minus... Came across this restaurant by accident having nearly gone into one close by which was empty. So glad we just walked on a bit and found this gem. Full of Italians, always a good sign, queued outside a while, another good sign while a guy sat outside in front garden area playing wonderfully on guitar. All the rotten reviews must be from people who prefer Burgers and chips, McDonalds etc you know the oiks and anorak brigade. Will definitely return when...
