Unbelievable and avoid at all costs.

Disrespectful and does not update their website on their hours. I reserved a spot at their restaurant a month in advance showing availability on their website, OpenTable, and TripAdvisor. We just showed up and they said that they aren't open. After mentioning our reservation, they played dumb and acted like they had no idea. 5 minutes after leaving, they cancelled our booking and we received a notification.

So typical for another lazy worker that can't even take the time to update their system hours properly. This booking was meant to be my birthday dinner and instead we have to find something at nearly 9pm in the area.

I really find it so unacceptable, abysmal, and ridiculous that people can't take a moment to do their job correctly. As a former restaurant worker myself, this type of admin is common sense.

Avoid this restaurant - they clearly don't have the mental capacity to update their hours, so they won't make any effort to cook a decent meal.

Sad...

The restaurant is in a truly beautiful setting, and we were excited to try it out during our stay in Montechiaro. To say we were disappointed is a rather profound understatement. We sat for around 25 minutes without being served, and not a single person acknowledged us except to change out the small QR code menu on our table. They had only 1 person taking orders despite many people whizzing around our table. When we finally were served, the waiter was snippy, demeaning, and condescending, particularly towards one of our members who has a gluten allergy. They also have no gluten/lactose free options to speak of. We left without eating— hungry and upset. It is highly unfortunate that the beautiful view offered by this establishment is ruined by the less-than-picture-perfect atmosphere. (5/5 ⭐️) An absolute fav & probably the best food I had in this area ! Lol - I mean overall in Italy top places you should check out. You should def call to what’s app for a reservation as they are only open a few hours for lunch and a few hours for dinner. The service was so good here. The gentlemen are attentive and very friendly. The food is sooooo fresh and just so good. We went 3 times during our stay in Montechiaro. Their fried calamari and tiramisu was a absolute favorite. Their cheesecake is the best I’ve had in my life. The dishes were all so good and we had a few ! The pasta is Al dente, the steak is good, the spaghetti with clams was delicious.. the wine. & to top it all off — it has by far one of the most spectacular views !!
