Ramen Koumiya — Restaurant in Aizuwakamatsu

For anyone that can't read Japanese have Google translate at the ready before you walk in. The menu is electronic but there isn't an option for other languages. The staff were friendly even though we knew very little Japanese. As for the ramen, it was outstanding. I had the kyushu ramen with egg and a side of chili sauce. It's probably the best ramen I've had to date. The broth was super flavorful I could drink it by itself. This was the first time having thin noodles, I really enjoyed them. This is a great ramen shop with decent prices, a nice and clean, new location here. My favorite part of Koumiya is the fresh garlic cloves and garlic press available for free so you can add that amazing extra zest! Highly recommended for garlic lovers! 初訪問 友達から会津で豚骨ラーメン食べるなら、こうみ家がいいよと言われていたので、行ってみました。 昼休みがないので、１４時過ぎでも行けるのは嬉しいですね😃最近の店は１１〜１４時が多くて、結構辛いです。

そんで、こうみ屋さんには平日１４：３０頃訪問。先客１名。しかし、自分が食べていると、結構多く来客が！人気店みたいですね。

待客がいないので、食券を買う時も、ゆっくり選べました。友達お勧めの豚骨ラーメンか、つけ麺か、煮干ラーメンかメチャ悩みましたが、ここは初めてなので、とりあえず豚骨ラーメン850円、大盛１玉１５０円を選択。店員さんに渡してカウンターに座る。ついでに麺硬もお願いしました。また、ライス無料で付けれるとのことで、お願いしました。 店内を見回すと、ニンニクなどの調味料がまとまって置いてあり、自分で準備するみたいでした。ニンニクの皮を自分で剥いて、おろし器で潰し、ラーメンを待っていると、かなり早い着丼。自分以外の注文していないので、当たり前ですが💦 ラーメン大盛なので、当たり前ですが、自分的には、豚骨ラーメンなので、つい替え玉を想像してしまい、あれ？って思ってしまいました。思い込みって嫌ですねー。

準備したニンニクを入れよく混ぜてスープを一口。期待していた程豚骨臭や味はなく、ちょい残念。博多系とは違いました。これも思い込みはダメですね。 麺はストレート麺。ちょっと太め。あまり他店では食べないストレートのちょい太麺ですね。調味料が近くに無いのは、結構面倒くさいでした。食べている途中でコショウなども取りに行かないといけないのは、かなり面倒くさい❌店の事情もあるので、仕方ないでしょうが。

自分的には、フツーに食べれる豚骨ラーメンって感じですね。他にも極煮干やつけ麺などもあるので、若松市内に行ったときに再訪問...
