The perfect temperature and taste of the latte and the onion garlic bagel, avocado, and chicken sandwich. The owner, Toshi, warmed the chicken specially for me, and the taste of the sandwich was a perfect balance of avocado and cream cheese, and the chicken juices ran down my cheeks when I ate it. If you're visiting Akita City, Coffee Jack is a must-visit place if you love bagels and lattes!

I love coming here for their coffee-based drinks and bagels. The coffee is roasted just right, and the drinks are not sweetened. The bagels are fresh and chewy, but not so dense that they make unwieldy sandwiches, it's that perfect sweet spot of density and softness. The café is quiet and cozy. Our group of three was the only one there at the time, so we received our food and drinks quickly. The hot chocolate was tasty, as was the ham and cheese sandwich. Would go back if in Akita again!
