Nice enough if you are very hungry and tired, the food itself is nothing noteworthy. The ramen was undercooked and the fried chicken not warm. We sat in a tent and got a seat next to each other. JRあしかがフラワーパーク駅に隣接したあしかがフラワーパークは花のテーマパーク。 栃木県足利市朝倉町に早川農園として1968年に開園。都市開発の為 1997年に現在の足利市迫間町に移設し、あしかがフラワーパークとしてオープン。 園のシンボルである大藤は日本の女性樹木医第一号である塚本こなみ氏によって移植され、大藤( 当時樹齢130年)の移植は前例がなく常識を超えた移植プロジェクトに全国から注目を集め、日本で初めての成功例となった。 大藤 4本(野田九尺藤 3本・八重黒龍藤 1本 )と80mにおよぶ白藤のトンネルは栃木県天然記念物に指定されており、これらが見頃を迎える 4月中旬から 5月中旬の 1ヵ月間は 「ふじのはな物語～大藤まつり～」 が開催される。また10月下旬より開催されるイルミネーション 「光の花の庭」 は夜景コンベンションビューローが認定する日本三大イルミネーションに選ばれ、全国の夜景観光士が選ぶイルミネーションランキングで全国1位を獲得した。 施設内にある”スープ＆フードコーナー”は正面ゲートを抜けると、すぐ右手にある店。幅広いニーズに応えるため、たくさんのメニューを取り扱っている。 平日の16時頃伺うと、広い園内という事もあり空いている印象。先に進むと左側に屋台風の店が並ぶ。気温が低いので温かいスープに惹かれるのだが～ここはソフトクリームだろう。 ＊藤ソフト450円 藤の香を楽しめる園オリジナルソフトクリーム。 藤の香り自体よくわからないので、藤の雰囲気は淡い紫色のみ。野外で食べていると流石に寒さが厳しい。
