Porto — Restaurant in Atami

A restaurant into premium area, you can choose between a decent amount of wines. We had the most expensive course(18.000¥), it could impress you if you are not familiar with premium restaurants. If you are familiar with this kind of restaurants, then you won’t feel impressed at all, the platting is decent , the products used are average and surely the portions are very small …this is why they offer you at the end as much pasta as you want , it’s like a proof that even they admit that you might still feel hungry at the end of the course. You can see in photos how small is everything , I never saw a smaller steak in another premium restaurant , although in here the quality was same or below other premium restaurants. Music was good , classic Italian opera mostly , comfortable chairs , but they should remove the fake walls in between tables , it is probably for Covid protection…but the walls break the charm of an Italian restaurant, it makes everything look boxed. こちらのレストランはまず、最初の入ったところの雰囲気から良かったです！エクシブグループのレストランですが、高いランクのホテルのレストランであることもあり、少しカジュアルな感じで、しかし、海外のおしゃれなレストランの雰囲気もあり、とても素敵です。 一品目はカツオの出汁からとったコンソメスープでした。非常に繊細な出汁でスープは美味しいです。 2品目は海の恵みのアンサンブルです。いなだとさばのカルパッチョ風は非常に美味しく、カニのタルタルとキャビアも美味でした。 3品目は牛フィレとロース　黒毛和牛でした。フィレは特に脂身が少なくとても美味しい一品でした。　またサイドの野菜やマッシュポテトもこだわりがあり、なめらかで舌触りがよくパンにあいます。　このパンがまた美味しく、米粉のパンもミルクのパンもおかわり必須です。 4品目の真鯛も魚は柔らかく、また皮はパリっとしていて美味しいです。　初島という場所もあり、シーフードイタリアンですが、肉のあとに魚も素材が美味しいからこそですね。 5品目は伊勢海老でした。海老じたいももちろんですが、ブイヤベースが濃厚でとても美味しいです。これもパンにぴったりでした。
