茶薫 小籠包 本厚木ミロード店 — Restaurant in Atsugi

As we happened to be in Honatsugi for a medical appointment, we went to find a place for lunch. We are a big fan of dumplings, and the ads at the station caught our eye to try this place out. Honestly speaking, it is “OK” but never be “great”. As they boast dim sum, we went for a set of dumplings with different flavours. On the menu it looked appalling, it did look like they have different fillings such as scallops, prawns crab etc. but it turned out that it was just a flavour, and every dumpling was made of mince pork - which made me wonder what the point for making different varieties lol however, once again, the dumplings were not bad, but not that impressive too for the given reasons. The place was fine, clean and a jar of water was already placed on each table. But once again, I wouldn’t have been satisfied if the place was crowded and have to wait for food etc. ( it was nearly 3 pm when we went there and there were not many customers) It’s a shame that this place definitely has potential, but as of now, it’s not really my best...

Very tasty Xiolongbao and other Chinese Cuisine. We have been for both lunch and dinner, and both times we were able to easily get a table without the place being too empty. A convenient location next to the station, and everything we tried was a surprisingly tasty...
