I stayed here for one night, and let me tell you the highlight of it was the bath. I have never felt so relaxed. They had a sauna, cold room, and three different baths at three different temperatures. I could only dip my toes into the coldest one, but I bet it would feel really good after the sauna. They even have ice pops after you're finished. The staff were really friendly. When I turned on the AC, it was nice and cool, and even though I could see the train station from my room, I couldn't really hear any of the noise.
There are only two complaints that I have: The Internet speed was rather low. Even in my room, I only got three bars at best, and that was over all of my devices. Created some slow surfing and pauses in my videos. But nothing too of note. However, after relaxing in the bath and coming back to my room, I found that my mattress was hard as stone. I fully understand that I am not the average person, but I like a little comfort in my bed, a little softness. That bed had none. It woke me up like three times in the middle of the night where I was sore. Not the best night sleep. I would probably go again, but I would make sure to bring extra pillows, so my back doesn't hurt in...
Read moreI stayed here for 2 nights, booked by business contact in “deluxe single room” for just having a hotel-stay near to my visit-location. The hotel was reasonable priced and for that reason I not expected a 5* facility. However according my standards, even price taken in consideration, this hotel does not meet my requirements. At least I look for comfortable sleep, space to work on the room and decent breakfast. Neither of the three reached my average requirement level. Room was very small (bed about 2,20m x 2,00m; space around bed only about 1,00m on one side…the rest 0,00m against wall!). The sleep however reached my standard. The breakfast was the real disappointment with only orange juice, scrambled egg and something that looked like bread-ball…but did not taste like. I really wonder what the “standard single room” will look like. On the positive side, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite, and the internet was for free…. But can not make up for the overall disappointment of...
Read moreI booked this hotel because I was totally hyped about the public bath and sauna. And let me tell you, they didn't disappoint! Even though one of the pools was out of commission during my stay, I still had a blast in the other baths and the sauna.
It was a cool touch that they gave each guest a free alcoholic drink. Maybe they could offer some non-alcoholic options too, just for variety.
The hotel's location was awesome. It was like a two-minute walk to Hon-Astugi station, super convenient!
But here's the thing that bummed me out: the air conditioning in the rooms. There wasn't an individual AC unit for each room, just a vent you could control. And when I turned it on, all I got was hot air! It was like 20 degrees outside, and the AC made my room feel like a sauna. I had to open the only window to get some fresh air, which meant dealing with the train noise from the Odakyu Lines.
I hope they upgrade their AC system soon. It would make a...
