We visited Gempei very last minute, tried our luck of walking in! We arrived at the restaurant by 6:30pm, and they were happy to serve us a counter seat. Enjoy watching the chef preparing each piece of sushi while the background was a nice view of the port. We had a very good time here and their sushi was delicious! The chef tried his best to explain the sushi to us and willing to accommodate our requests! I like how they put a pinch of salt on the fish instead of soy sauce. It really enhanced the fish flavor! Highly recommend to add the price difference of having Awaji Uni, instead of Hokkaido! IT IS ONE OF THE BEST UNI...
