Gempei — Restaurant in Awaji

We visited Gempei very last minute, tried our luck of walking in! We arrived at the restaurant by 6:30pm, and they were happy to serve us a counter seat. Enjoy watching the chef preparing each piece of sushi while the background was a nice view of the port. We had a very good time here and their sushi was delicious! The chef tried his best to explain the sushi to us and willing to accommodate our requests! I like how they put a pinch of salt on the fish instead of soy sauce. It really enhanced the fish flavor!
