The quality of the food and service are truly top-class. We went for lunch, but specifically reserved Awaji beef and Awaji gyu courses. I was able to compare both the filet and roast cuts of both types, and while the Awaji beef definitely melted in your mouth more, both were cooked to perfection. All the side dishes were delicious too.

The head chef cooked for my family and I and was happy to talk with us as we ate. He also kindly explained to us many things about the beef, the area, and his experiences as a chef.

This is a wonderful steak house. It is about a five minute walk from Iwaya Port. From Akashi Port, it takes about 15 minutes by boat.
