Chef Mina and her Mom are not only exquisite hosts but the kindest people I have ever met. My fiancé and I ate dinner with Mina and her Mom in the 130 year old renovated farm house on a completely beautiful organic farm last evening and It was truly magical dinner for 2. Every ingredient was hand selected and worked with to create an amazing dish that was so touching to eat. The flavors and textures were crafted methodically to ensure a wonderful experience. Mina has forever touched my heart and my fiancé and I were joking that she must be related to the vegetables because she understands them so very well. It’s like they speak their own language together. I will never forget my meal and experience and Mina’s passion to her craft, she is truly an artist. The love and admiration we have for Mina is something we will always have with us. Thank you Mina from the bottom of our hearts for everything. I hope you have the best time in Minnesota and a wonderful first time in America! We...

The best restaurant I have visited in Japan. The food was grown in the garden or locally, the presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious. I asked for a vegetarian meal however if you wish there are other options such as fish or meat. The setting of the 100 year old Japanese house was beautiful and I loved how traditional everything was. Both my children also loved the meal and the multiple courses. I did email in advance seeing as I do not speak Japanese (yet) and set up the date and time and dietary preferences. The food is amazing value for the setting, taste and presentation. Afterwards, as we were interested MIna explained the special way of cooking to preserve nutrients and it was very educational. If we lived closer than hours away I would go back every month. When visitors are allowed in Japan again I will have to make the trip up there for lunch, dinner or a cooking class. We also loved the hot sauce and Mina made some for us...

What an extraordinary experience! From start to finish, our lunch felt like a journey through incredible and authentic flavors rather than just a meal. The cuisine here is refreshingly simple, showcasing local ingredients with minimal seasoning to highlight their natural flavors.

Every dish we enjoyed was perfectly executed, leaving us completely satisfied. We feel fortunate to have discovered this hidden gem in a quaint local area and would certainly return if we find ourselves in Azumino again. Truly a memorable dining experience...
