Not all CoCoâs offer the same menu items, and this one specializes in serving American Sized Chicken Sandwiches and Curry Dogs! Definitely a photogenic treat and experience, this review is just for these two items only. Otherwise, this is your standard CoCoâs.
From a novelty perspective, this is a fun experience for anyone who is familiar with CoCoâs. The Chicken Cutlet Burger is hefty and large. The bun is large even by American Standards, and is soft and squishy. A classic Sesame Seed Bun that is oversized for your enjoyment! The chicken cutlet is your typical CoCoâs cutletâtasty, good breading, and just slightly dry chicken. For anyone unfamiliar with Japanese Bacon, it will always be more like a thick slice of ham rather than a crispy fried bacon. The bacon is half-fat half-pork, and is still tasty but you gotta bite hard through it. The flavor profile of the sandwich is goodâmayo, mustard, pickles, shredded cabbage, itâs an overall solid large chicken sandwich! My biggest complaint is the small amount of curry on the sandwich. While this is intended to be a chicken sandwich, itâs only a small dabble of curry, so if youâre wanting to taste curry flavoring more, youâre better off getting actual curry than the sandwich.
The Keema Curry Dog with Cheese Sauce is your prototypical Baseball Game Curry Dog. The cheese is that electric yellow nacho cheese we all know and love, and the chili tastes like a solid beanless chili. The bun is curry flavored though, so thatâs an excellent touch! If youâre looking for old school American Baseball game vibes, this will hit the spot!
Overall, both of these sandwiches (located here only) are worth a try once to see if you like it. You wonât get anywhere near the same amount of curry as you would with a regular bowl, but if youâre ok with trading the amount of curry for a new flavor profile, youâll be happy to try either! A fantastic spin on an American classic from a Japanese...

Read moreI like that they're accessible especially when most restaurants with plant-based options are already closed at night.
Just a friendly tip for vegetarians, vegans, and anyone on a plant-based diet... Their veggie dishes have PORK sauce (indicated in very small text) and the mushroom curry had meat bits although their menu did not say so.
Don't make the same mistake I did! It was my 2nd time and I made the huge mistake of assuming that their veggie dishes are automatically vegetarian/vegan. My 1st time was drive thru and I specifically asked for vegan. Make sure you tell them your order is vegetarian/vegan. They do have vegetarian curry which is also vegan. I've also ordered the soy meat hamburger (originally with pork curry) with vegetarian curry.
