白樺湖榮園 — Restaurant in Chino

We stayed here for one night in the summer and had a wonderful time. The hotel is a very retro in a charming way and feels like you’ve time jumped to the Showa-era. The man at the front desk was very sweet and upgraded up for free to a larger room with a balcony facing the lake. The room itself is very neat and clean and was more than enough for the price. went there for a coffee since it was getting cold. We were the only guests and it was very cold inside. The attendant turned on a small kerosene heater we ordered two. coffee cake set for 1000 Yen each. On the menu the cake looked all right but when it came I was surprised by the size of it. The cake was the size of a small cookie. The cappuccino was served in a tea cup and not very tasty. In the end I paid for 2 coffees and 2 very small pieces of cake 2200Yen. 直前に予約して宿泊しました。 ツインのお部屋でバストイレ付ベランダ付でビジネスホテル並みの料金でした。 室内は古く所々綻びはありますが、清潔に保たれていました。 このお部屋ならコスパ最高です。 真夏の最中でも朝夕は涼しくベランダは心地良かったです。 ロケーションは、レストラン棟が目前にあって、白樺湖が見えにくいお部屋ではありました。建物構造から考えると、どの部屋もロケーションは変わらないかと思います。 近くに食事する場所は無いと聞いていて、こちらのレストランは9時閉店だったので利用しました。 味はファミリーレストラン並で、多少ボリューミーですが、その分料金も味より量に比例しているようです。 電話対応や受付は中年男性、恐らく中国か韓国系列の方のようで声も小さく、言葉も少なかったので聞き取りにくかった。 ホテルインフォメーションも殆ど無かったので、無愛想かと勘違いしてしまいました。 厨房では中年女性が真っ黒なシェフの出立で調理してました。 共用部分は、シックな造りで感じ良く、レストランも上品な感じです。 レストランは外部のお客さんも来れる造りですが、私の滞在時には内外からお客さんは居ませんでした。 チェックアウトはボックスにキーを入れるだけで終わりと終始そっけなく感じましたが、不快...
