吉 — Restaurant in Chitose

We ended up here because Menya Rei was randomly closed 😤 which made our plans a little bit rushed. A quick search on Google Map and we came here instead.

A neat small ramen shop with a serious-looking ramen chef. We ordered white miso, red miso and red miso with added spiciness.

Watching the ramen chef go about his business was almost mesmerising - meticulous and an ultimate professional.

The soup base was amazing - rich and full of depth. The char siu was tender and flavourful. Even the bean sprouts (which were pan stir fried) were delicious - coming from someone who usually doesn’t like them.

Quite an accidental discovery and will likely become our stopover every time before heading to New Chitose Airport. Bravo...

1番好きなラーメン屋さん

まずは、店主様、奥様にお礼が言いたいです。又お店を開いて、昔と同じラーメンが食べられて、本当にありがとうございます。 次に、口コミで王将が復活した事がわかる様にUPしてくださっていた皆さんにもお礼が言いたいです、ありがとうございました。

私の両親が若い頃から、王将閉店になるまではその孫まで連れて、、、長きに渡って両親をはじめ家族が愛してやまなかった王将、、、閉店後は、特にすっかり老いた父の落胆が激しく、どこのラーメンも口に合わず、、、

昨日、久しぶりにラーメンが食べたいと言うので 千歳　王将　似た味　　　と検索かけたところ、吉さんの名前が上がりました、口コミを見ると、、、 なんて事でしょう、画像に懐かしいラーメンの画像や店主様の画像まで、、、さらには王将復活の文字、、、これはもう父を連れて行かなくては！！と、夫に頼み今日伺いました！

ドアを開けると、昔と変わらないお兄さん（店主様）と奥様が居て泣きそうになりました、母はテンションが高まり　お久しぶりです！とか　懐かしいお味！！　と最後まで嬉しそうで、父は近頃落ち気味の食欲でしたが大盛りを頼み完食、1番スープも飲んで減って居ました。

千歳へ行くのが又楽しみになりました！！ 次は子供も連れて行かなくては！！
