We were staying at the Hideaway Tabaki a block away. The owner recommended Uotome. When we arrived we were already impressed with the upscale decor, and surprised that a small town has such a high end restaurant. We had the mini kaiseki. The presentation and taste were both perfect. The staff was very nice and made an effort to accommodate our lack of Japanese skill. We enjoyed the experience so much that my wife took a picture with the staff member.

2/17の“うおとめ”さんの宴席で飲みすぎて、お気に入りの傘を忘れてきてしまいました。ちゃんとしたお店は、玄関に傘を出しっぱなしにはしません。ちゃんと取っておいてくれます。土曜の休みに連絡したら、“いつでも取りに来てください”と。　朝のお掃除時間帯に御邪魔して回収してきました。ここでも女将さんは笑顔で手渡ししてくれました。CS とか顧客本位とか、参考になります。本当は、料理とかワインとかをアップしたかったけど、写真さえ撮り忘れました。
