As a vegetarian foreigner living in Japan it can be difficult finding a good regular place to eat and drink. I have lived in Fuji for 2 years now and this is my favourite place to visit. The owner can speak English, and is very accomodating, even created a special vegetarian menu for me without me even asking. Lots of foreigners and Japanese people tend to visit and with the friendly-ness of the owner this has lead to many fun conversations with locals and tourists.
