Amazing sweets' shop about an hour and a half from Tokyo! We stopped here on our way back from Kusatsu and we do not regret it! This is a family owned business that has been serving the community for more than 85 years and I hope they stay around for many more. Their signature creation: たまごまんじゅう was the perfect snack 😋 it was created by Masako-san's father (r.i.p) and it has been a great hit. The son, Youichi-san, is the one in charge of all the delicous pastries like the strawberry cake 🍰, the coffee cupcakes 🧁 and the pudding 🍮. The attention was very warm and friendly. Please give them a visit if you can! Also, if you have time, check out their coffee shop across the street called Café Ruelle.
