Amazing sweets' shop about an hour and a half from Tokyo! We stopped here on our way back from Kusatsu and we do not regret it! This is a family owned business that has been serving the community for more than 85 years and I hope they stay around for many more.

Their signature creation: ใŸใพใ”ใพใ‚“ใ˜ใ‚…ใ† was the perfect snack ๐Ÿ˜‹ it was created by Masako-san's father (r.i.p) and it has been a great hit. The son, Youichi-san, is the one in charge of all the delicous pastries like the strawberry cake ๐Ÿฐ, the coffee cupcakes ๐Ÿง and the pudding ๐Ÿฎ.

The attention was very warm and friendly. Please give them a visit if you can! Also, if you have time, check out their coffee shop across the street called...

Hello from 7,000 miles away in Florida, USA. This place is great, please do yourself a favor and visit here and try their decades old local favorite creation Egg Manju. Theyโ€™ve been around for 85 years and I fully expect them to last at least another 85 if my experience there taught me anything.
