[June 2020] I headed to Yonakasoba with two colleagues. The parking lot for the restaurant was quite small, with space for only two cars, so be careful. The interior of the restaurant was small and simple.

We ordered three Fried Rice with Chashu Pork and Egg (780 yen). As we had discussed before leaving the office, there were three of us, so we each ordered three items: a regular, medium, and large portion. With a health checkup coming up, my role was to order the medium portion. Not surprisingly, the price was the same regardless of size.

To make it, transfer the cubes of chashu pork topping and fluffy egg omelet to a single serving donburi, then place a normal amount of fried rice on top and squish it into the donburi at the end. Turn it upside down and serve it on a platter to complete the regular serving. For the large and medium portions, only the large portion of fried rice was placed on the plate first, and then the regular portion in the donburi was placed on top.

I did not notice it, but my colleague told me that the amount of fried pork and omelette added at the beginning was the same for each size, and the only difference was the amount of fried rice. Well, to put it bluntly, except for the cost of rice and labor, the cost is about the same. That is why the price of a large serving is the same.

When I checked the quantity before eating, it seemed that the medium and large portions were quite close, while the regular and medium portions were very different in appearance. After our dished were brought to us, and we took pictures, we just kept eating. We had to eat it all at once to finish it. There was no room for conversation. It was like eating a whole cake in one gulp.

The seasoning of the fried rice was not particularly distinctive and was rather light. The toppings were also moderately seasoned, and it seemed difficult to accentuate the toppings.

On the other hand, the fried rice was moist and easy to choke down. If it had been dry, I would have choked and gulped down water. It would have been even more difficult to finish the meal.

After halfway through the meal, I could no longer taste the fried rice or the toppings. But I couldn't leave it behind, so I solemnly continued eating.

Just as I was about 1/3 of the way through my meal, my colleague who was eating a regular serving finished it. I looked at the plate of another colleague who was eating a large portion and saw that he had only as much left as I did! I was forced to pick up the pace even more, as I could not allow myself to be overtaken. It was more like running the last spurt in an 800-meter race than a marathon. I swallowed more than I ate.

In the end, I finished the meal like an avalanche with the colleague. I guess I was a little faster than him... Satisfied not only with the food but also with the event. After the meal, I felt even closer to...

テレビで取り上げられた人気店に両親と3人で来店。注文した品をシェアして食べました😋土曜日の12:30頃到着して入店まで1時間、並び始めて全料理の着丼までは1時間20分程でした。その日は暑かったのですが、店の前に無料で貸し出されてた晴雨兼用の傘のおかげで倒れることなく並べました😊席数は4人がけテーブル1席、カウンターが9か10席位だったかと…炒飯とサンマーメンの野菜の量が無料で変更できるなんて太っ腹すぎます!炒飯とサンマーメンはとても気に入ったし、会計後に元気に「ありがとうございます!」と言ってもらえたのでまた行きたいなって思いました!

【チャーシュー玉子炒飯(大900g)】 持ち帰りパックが10円で売られていたので持ち帰る事を前提に大を注文。お椀を取ると、あんと玉子、チャーシューがとろ〜って出てきて食べる前からテンションアップ⤴︎︎︎︎︎味も文句なし、ニンニクが効いたパラパラ系で細かい蒲鉾やネギも入ってます。特にチャーシューが大きくてほろっほろで口に入れると幸せが広がる感じです🥰強いて言うなら玉子、これまた大きくてふかふかで美味しかったけどちょっと焦げ気味な部分があったかな💦でも気にならない程度だし大満足、注文した商品で1番美味しかったです!事前に言えば紅しょうがつけて貰えます。 【サンマーメン】 これまたニンニクが効いてます。母によそった分にはニンニクが丸ごと入ってたそうです笑...

The owners are sweet the chahna filling and the ramen piping hot! It is good and deserves the good reputation. Do get here early or prepare for a wait.

2021年1月訪問 電車を利用すると通いづらい場所にあるラーメン、炒飯、丼物を提供する大衆食堂。 しかし提供される料理がデカ盛りだとバイカーの方々を中心に口コミが広がり、現在はテレビ番組や大食いタレントのYou Tubeなどでも紹介されているお店です。 特に昼間は入店待ちの行列が出来るほどの人気店で、待ち時間は覚悟の訪問が必要です。 この日も土曜日の12時前に到着しましたが、運よく店頭には行列がありませんでした。 入店後に店頭には行列が出来ました。 常に3~5人程度の行列がある感じです。 店内はL字のカウンター席とテーブル席が用意されていました。 とはいえ15席程度のやや小さめのお店です。 カウンター席が多いため、町中華よりもラーメン店という雰囲気です。 メニューは一品料理やかた焼きそばなどもありますが料理のメインはラーメンと炒飯です。 しかもこちらのお店はデカ盛りのお店。特に一番人気は炒飯で、同じ値段で並:400g、中:700g、大:950gのサイズから選択する事が出来るようになっています。 大食いタレントは大3つくらいは余裕でいっちゃうのだと思いますが、一般人からしてみたら大1つでも十分なボリュームになっています。 チャーシュー玉子炒飯(とりカラ2ケ付)は、お客さんのほとんどが注文するという人気のメニューが炒飯で、どんぶり茶碗で蓋がされたのがインパクト大の料理です。 炒飯のサイズを3種類から選べ、炒飯のみだと680円、から揚げ2個付きでも900円というお得な料金設定です。 トーテムポールのように積み上げられた炒飯は、炒飯の上にふわふわの玉子、さらにその上にチャーシューがのった豪快な一皿となっています。 チャーシューは角ばった形状ですが、ホロッと崩れる柔らかさで、ふわトロの玉子と同じ雰囲気なので一体感があります。 ただ、チャーシューが一番塩味が強い味わいのため、終盤に残し過ぎるとしょっぱい味わいで食べ飽きてくる恐れがあります。 炒飯は比較的しっとり目な仕上がりで、味付けは薄目に作られているのでチャーシュー、玉子、炒飯を食べ進める割合をしっかり合わせて食べ進めましょう。それが攻略のカギと言えると思います。 から揚げはゴロッとした大き目のが2つ。 しっかり下味が付いているので炒飯のお供にするにも炒飯前の準備運動に頂くにも良いかもしれません。 町中華のようなお店ではありますが、メニュー数が豊富というよりも限定されたメニュー数の中で安く、ボリュームある料理が食べられるお店でした。 ボリュームの選択できるところが使いやすく、大サイズは町中華のボリュームを凌駕します。 体を使う仕事をされている方や若者などガッツリ食べる人には嬉しいお店ですね。 炒飯には「おともラーメン」「おともワンタンスープ」をつける事ができ、それぞれ100円で食べる事が出来ます。
