5-star sweet creations. Desserts so beautiful it's a shame to eat them!

The desserts made in this small shop are works of art, each one modeled after a popular Japanese dish. But if you want to own your own and take way too many pictures of your purchases, you had better arrive early. The shop opens at 11 a.m. We arrived at 10:45 and were not the first ones there. By the time they opened at 11, there was a group of 11 people waiting to go in. You are served in the order of when you arrive so we were fortunate enough to be second (the first couple to purchase these little creations bought a whopping 10 of them). They sell out fast. I heard that they often sell out in the first 90 minutes, which wouldn't surprise me considering how long it takes to create just one of these desserts. For the most part, the desserts are pudding/sponge-cake based, but there are variations on this. I don't often eat desserts so even trying to finish a single one was quite difficult as the sugar flooded my system. For design appeal, I think the pork cutlet and soba were quite impressive. For taste, I preferred the "curry," as it had strawberries, chocolate, and rice crispies (so a little more variety). The place lends itself more to takeout, and the little containers that the desserts come in are quite cute and reusable. They are best eaten that day or the following day, so trying to buy them as gifts to be eaten a few days later won't really be a good option.

大きさ10センチ程の器に入った料理が、実はスイーツだなんて信じられないですよね。 こういうのって見た目だけで味はそこそこなんでしょ…って思いながら食べたら… あら！びっくり(笑) そんな風に思ってしまってごめんなさい。 味も本格スイーツでめちゃくちゃ美味しい。 この素材は何で出来ているのんだろう？ って考えながら味わうとより楽しめますよ。 見た目と味のギャップにびっくりです。

「お鍋」は見た目も味もイチオシ。 完成度がすごい！ 白菜は洋梨、シイタケはチョコ、豆腐はムース、ネギはホワイトチョコで出来ていました。

「カツカレー」はカレー部分はチョコレートソースで、スポンジケーキ出来たカツにフルーツが乗っています。

「ロコモコ丼」は目玉焼きとハンバーグはクリームで出来ていて、黄身に見立てたミカンが乗っていました。

どれも中身は滑らかなプリンです。

もちろんお土産として渡したら喜ばれますし、たくさんの種類があるのでリピートして他の種類も食べたくなりますね。

食べ終わった器は電子レンジ対応なので色々と工夫次第で料理に使えそうです。

売り切れもあるので早めの時間に行くのがよさそうですね。 JR福知山駅から2キロ弱あるので車で行くのが良さそうです。 店の前に駐車場もありますよ。
