Navo vegan Restaurants & bar — Restaurant in Furano

Having been traveling in Japan for almost a month now, I was super excited to find a Vegan/vegetarian restaurant! It was good to know this type of eating is alive and well in Japan despite having been hungry the last few weeks as Japan definitely does not cater to vegan/vegetarianism.

We walked 15 minutes from our hotel (my boyfriend included, begrudgingly, as he is an omnivore), only to see that it was CLOSED despite being advertised on google maps that it was open.

I’m giving 4 stars and not any less as I’m happy and thrilled to see vegan/vegetarian options which brings me great joy.

Mostly just posting as a warning to others to call ahead and not be thoroughly disappointed and hungry like I was; otherwise I can’t speak for the service and food as I wasn’t able to...

Beautiful family run small business - amazing interior hand crafted by the super friendly owners. Awesome completely vegan menu - entrees, mains, deserts! Great bar with home made choices, local choices and imported choices. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of meal you receive.

Great place to have a sit and a chat with the owner - 'Take'. He is a great guy and speaks English, loves a laugh and is happy to help with local skiing options - even spent half a day with me on the local mountain showing me around and spreading the stoke ! And he rips! We will be back for sure when we re-visit furano and it's people like Take and places like Nano that ensure we return to a place such as furano. What a great place :D...

Navo is very rude indeed !

I am a frequent Furano visitor for over 7 years.

Unfortunately Navo is a total disappointment.

I have been calling Navo over lunch and dinner hours for a week but no one answers.

I finally made a reservation by msg on Sat at 7pm. I arrived at 7:30pm because I walked all the way from the ski resort for 1hr and looking for their location.

When I arrived, Navo is closed.

Navo messaged me: ’What happened? You have made a reservation at 19 o'clock but will not be coming. We are leaving. Dinner is reservation system.’

The opening hours is 1100-0100...
