Later this afternoon, around 5:00 PM on April 5th, my family and I chose to dine at this establishment. As tourists unfamiliar with the local cuisine, we were taking our time to decide on our selections. While there was no queue forming behind us, the attendant who took our order unfortunately did not extend the courteous hospitality we have consistently experienced throughout Japan. His demeanor was marked by impatience and rudeness. To ensure accuracy, we repeated our order back to him. When my brother requested additional rice, instead of a polite explanation regarding any extra charge, the attendant abruptly pointed to the menu and stated the supplementary cost of approximately ¥300, implying a concern about our ability to pay. We initially dismissed this as a potential misunderstanding. Subsequently, my brother inquired about the soup options and requested onion soup. The attendant again pointed dismissively at the menu, reiterating the additional ¥300 charge with the same curt tone. He then gestured towards our initial order, stating that our meals already included soup. My brother apologized, explaining that he was unaware due to the menu being in Japanese. The attendant's response was a dismissive suggestion that my brother should used his phone for translation. At this point, my brother and the rest of my family decided to leave. The food was okay overall, but there were some significant issues. The waiting time is 30 miniute. The beef was overly chewy, requiring it to be cut into small pieces just to make it chewable. The metal plate was supposed to be served hot so the rare beef could cook properly, but unfortunately, the plate was cold, which affected the entire experience. To make matters worse, the store owner's attitude was unwelcoming and unprofessional, solidifying our decision not to return to this...

There are different types of meats and portions. I asked for well-done which the staff said will take 20’mins. It took less than that.
