Relam Glamping Resort Gotemba — Hotel in Gotenba

We were recommended Relam Glamping by a friend who had visited last year. The location of this glamping hotel is just outside the Gotemba outlet mall, literally a 2 minute walk. It was a superb decision to stay here!!

We Travelled with 2 small kids - they loved loved the experience of glamping for the first time. The place had an outdoor play area which kids throughly enjoyed. They also organised a bonfire in the evening along with roasted marshmallows for kids and fireworks. We woke up to a view of Mt. Fuji from our tent. Rooms were very comfortable with 4 beds, a fridge, sofa with a separate area for dining outside the tent.

The Level of hospitality we received from this place was exceptional!! We were totally blown away. The staff were so friendly. Yuta, the owner of this place was a very friendly and helpful person. He was constantly in touch with us on whattsapp and guided us.

He helped us organise Vegetarian pizza for us. A hotel staff member even drove us to the nearby supermarket to accommodate for Vegan/ Vegetarian food after our day of shopping.

The next evening we had to travel to Hakone but were unable to find a cab. Yuta himself came and picked us up from the Outlet Mall since it was raining. He even dropped us off to our hotel in Hakone an hour away, which was totally out of the way. We would have been stranded in Gotemba with 2 small kids if it was not for him that day. Hats off to the Japanese hospitality.

Relam Glamping Resort Gotemba offers a luxurious glamping experience. It is a 7-minute walk to Gotemba Premium Outlet, the largest outlet in Japan!

The resort sits at the foot of Mt. Fuji providing a view of the elusive peak right at your doorstep.

The tents are spacious, climate-controlled with 4 French beds per tent, private bathrooms with a Dyson hair dryer! 👍

Gourmet meals are prepared by their in-house chef. We had a multi-course dinner with bread, salad, soup, grilled meats, steak, shrimp, seafood, veggies and dessert. All drinks from soda, coffee and whisky are free-flowing!

Additional amenities include private fire pits and a communal campfire area, board games, a trampoline, a hammock and enclosed areas for pets.

This is a perfect example of a vacation with an activity for the whole family! Moms can shop all day without worrying about Dad and the kids! 👍

The price for this glamping experience with all meals and drinks is ¥38,000 (US$265) per person per night. We were a group of 8 couples and we had a great time! 🥰🥰🥰

We decided to stay here as we saw the Glamping tents on our trip last year. It was easy to book as they don’t require your credit card details. Check in is between 3-5pm. The whole experience was great, from check in, where they were explain to you the amenities the place has to offer. Like, free-flowing beer from 5pm-9pm, along with soft drinks and coffee. The room itself was very spacious and has a great view of Fuji-san. All the amenities you’ll need are there. Mini fridge, coffee/Tea stand and bottled water.

The water pressure in the shower is the best! They also provide a Dyson hairdryer, which is a nice touch.
