If you are a foreign traveller or don't understand Japanese, I would suggest asking your hotel to book this place on your behalf. The quality of the shabu shabu was amazing. The staff were very friendly and attempted to communicate with us with very limited English. The menu is not written in English and there are no pictures so you have to be able to read simple Japanese to order. However, we were charged with a side dish that we did not order and thought it came together as a package. Overall dining quality was still pleasant.

八戸中心街、鷹匠小路の和食の店、素材礼賛 丹念でランチしてきました。 天ぷらなどを中心に素材にこだわった和食のランチが並びますが、裏メニューのところにカレーが。 和食が続いていたのでカレーも良いかなと入ってみました。 ■スープカレー 大きな皿に盛られてきたスープカレー。 ご飯の上にはフライドオニオンですかね。 スープはスパイシーさよりも旨味にこだわった欧風な感じ。 濃厚ですねー。 煮込まれているチキンも柔らかく、箸で簡単にほぐれます。 札幌のスパイスカレーとはちょっと違いますね。 ■自家製カタラーナ ランチにはドリンクが付くというのでコーヒーを。 あと自家製カタラーナも追加です。 カチカチのカタラーナは甘さ控えめ。 量も多めで美味しくいただけました。 4月からランチは完全予約制になるとのことで、気軽に楽しむなら今です！

料理長はまだお若い方ですが、丁寧で美味しい料理を出してくださいます。 突出しの餡掛け茶碗蒸しがちょうどいいしのぎになってスタート。 平目とつぶ貝の刺身は鮮度もよく美味、馬刺は適度な薄さと薬味にセンスを感じます。 その他、下足の山椒揚げ、わさび漬焼きたらこなど、一部ひねりをきかせながらも看板通りに素材の良さを引き出しています。 〆はカツカレー。牛カツが乗ったミニサイズでぺろりといけちゃいます。カツカレーはランチもある模様。 お酒は県内の日本酒を中心に薫酒メインのラインナップ。こ...
