There were many stalls in this local seafood market. We noticed the prices were about 20% cheaper than the morning market near hakodate station.
There was a fishing of squid counter at the left most side of the market. 1300 yen per squid compared to 1500 yen per squid in the ekini market. There was no queue here compared to queue time about 45 minutes in the ekini market. The size of the squid was almost the sane in both markets, and tastes of sashimi were also similar. But the skill of cutting squid in the ekini market was more interesting, in which the squid tentacles were still moving during cutting, but here, the chef made sure the squid was dead first
There were few eatery restaurants on the right most side of the market.
Miyabi sushi only have 5 seats and do not entertain takeaway. Queue time for seats about 2 hours when there were only 4 persons ahead of us. Therefore, we gave up on eating here.

Seating is available, though limited. The crab store steamed and prepared the crab for us, we bought a small live king crab at 10,000 yen per kilo, although we found it at 9,000 yen per kilo at the other market (price during early...

They also offer to order sides by phone, like soup and rice. Was a bit worsened by the tourist season but still comparatively better than most markets or places to...
