Yakiniku Banchō — Restaurant in Hakodate

This was a pleasant surprise to my day. Did a search on tabelog and found this gem. All you can eat Japanese style barbecue buffet for 1100yen plus 180 if you want the drink bar for 90mins. They have an alcoholic drink bar as well as cocktails and beers available. Addition time at the buffet is an extra charge. On weekdays, from 5-6 pm if you get a seat you get a 200 yen discount for the dinner buffet which is originally 2100 yen. If you have a large group you can only spilt the bill among 5 people and no more. One more thing to note is, if you have a lot of meat or other foods left over each person in your party has to pay an additional 1000yen.

I liked the variety of meats available as well as the sushi selection, ramen area and dessert station. 2 words...choclate fountain. And you can make your own parfait or ice cream cone.

They also have free WiFi. While the WiFi is a bit slow and spotty. It is appreciated. I think if it wasn't so busy here the quality of the WiFi would have been better.

Over all this is a great place for groups, families...

Grilled bbq restaurant, a small restaurant that very popular in local. My guide recommended this restaurant to eat. Very impressed with the marinade pork was very delicious. There is a lot of food to choose from. I was very impressed with the shrimp tempura. I've never eaten anywhere this delicious before. Excellent service and have English speaking staff which super friendly and informative!! (I believe one of two speak) Accept credit card and plenty of parking and very reasonable price! Massive of selection of raw meat for Yakiniku, veggies, cooked food, noddles, curry and ice cream and deserts. I would recommend to everyone who is coming to Hakodate!! See the pictures I took...
