BALInese Restaurant BUNGA LOTUS — Restaurant in Himeji

A clean and comfortable Indonesian/Balinese restaurant with very friendly staff. The chef, Bawel, is such a good chef he was asked to move from Bali to Japan to cook at this restaurant. The waitress (sorry I didn't ask your name), catered to us frequently and Bawel explained each of the dishes. They serve course meals as well as a la carte, both with many options. The price for the courses are great value but the a la carte can be a bit more expensive. With that said, the a la carte main and dessert I ordered were delicious. This indonesian restaurant was very good in terms of food and services. We discovered several specialties which were very tasty. The dessert part was the best with there bowl of splendid fruits. If this restaurant was located near the station of Himeji it would be full of client, but at that actual place we were the only 2 clients for 5 employees (maybe a bit too much). Hari ini saya dan teman² pertama makan siang di restoran ini. Tempatnya persis di pinggir jalan dan jaraknya dari Himeji castle hanya ±14 menit menggunakan mobil. Ruang restorannya nyaman dan tidak sempit, ada meja untuk 2 orang, 4 orang dan ada juga meja untuk 6 orang. Pelayanannya sangat ramah dan menyenangkan, ada 1 orang Jepang dan 3 orang Indonesia yang memasak dan melayani tamunya. Buku menunya ada yang berbahasa Jepang dan ada yang berbahasa Indonesia (saya tidak melihat apakah ada atau tidak menu yang berbahasa Inggris). Setelah makan pun kita mendapatkan air putih dingin, teh atau kopi (optional) secara gratis dan bisa refill. Di restoran ini juga ada toilet dan westafelnya. Yang paling saya suka di restoran ini adalah disediakan juga ruangan untuk wudhu (disediakan tisu dan handuk kecil jika ingin dikeringkan setelah wudhu) dan ruangan untuk sholat.
