It was a nice place with lots of food and drink options, although it took some time for our food to be served and I found it slightly pricier than other izakayas.
It's a very busy place and the servers are trying their best to keep up with the orders, so do be patient and only ask the necessary questions, especially as a foreigner.
The fried chicken was really crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, can't help going for seconds. We found the Kobe beef skewers a little tough and lacking. The grilled onigiri tasted sensational, the nori sheet was super crispy!
I would order more of the fresh cucumber with niku miso dish as it was really refreshing and worked great as a palate cleanser.
The grilled mushrooms came with grated daikon and a dash of ponzu, just what I needed after days of eating meat.
Thank you...

The real reason this place gets 5 stars though is the service. As we were finishing up, the waitress, unprompted, brought us a little dish of lemon(?) sorbet each. She happily told us it was vegan as she was giving it to us, so they must have noticed what we had been ordering - we never said anything to any of the staff. A really sweet and kind touch! It was a lovely, refreshing end to...

Chef Rika is very friendly.. we had a chance to chat despite the language barrier between us. Highly recommend this restaurant. Payment methods can be made using a visa debit or credit card or cash. When I left, Chef Rika shouted GAMBATTE...
