After having visited and enjoyed many restaurants all over the world I can say with full confidence that this was the best (steak) restaurant ever. Point.
Traditional ambiente, other guests only Japanese this was an amazing experience. Our cook was master Mastumoto who proved his master skill as a cook.
We had a supernatural evening and enjoyed here every minute.
Outstanding cold and warm dishes (the cold white potato soup was remarkable, too) plus Wagyu cooked perfetly in front of you I can only recommend.
Great sauces, fine salt to the meat - very good dessert.
Not so sure, why this restaurant has no Michelin star - perhaps not fancy enough. But the star is here the straight way to taste, beauty and cooking experience. I have been in one- and two star Michelin restaurants which have been worse.
Good entertaining talk to the cook through the evening, sake was fitting very well to the meal and even afterwards we got served well, while leaving for the taxi (she ordered it for us).
The wegpage to reserve is easy to use (but Japanese only - or I did not find the correct way to switch it).
Price for two people was around 87.000 yen - but fully worth it.

The service is outstanding, you have a cook (thanks a lot Matsomoto) preparing food in front of you. And he was explaining well all ingredients and their origin.
The food then is really tasty, the Wagyu beef melts in your mouth, the fried rice is the best we had so far, the appetiser were excellent.

Great price for what it was, unsure of steak grade but I don't think it truely matters. Was attended to by a chef who cooks the meal in front of you and advises the dipping sauces recommended...
