Sushi Ichi — Restaurant in Himeji

So glad we stopped by! This was a “spur of the moment” decision due to the good ratings. And we didn’t regret it.

Since we didn’t reserve a table in advance we were actually expecting to be sent away but they were so very nice and squeezed us in.

The service was charming and delightful, the food was really good! I enjoyed the unexpected flavor of yuzu in the dishes and the well balanced taste of the sushi. The anago was melting on our tongue.

When we left we were being sent off by the team at the door. Thank you again for this charming experience!...

Excellent sushi! Small and locally owned business by the looks of it, I was waited on by what appeared to be a family of 3. They have a very large menu for wine, sochu, sake, beer and soft drinks. I especially liked the red snapper and fried eel that I was served! And not too far from Himeji castle too. Wonderful sushi restaurant on the north side of downtown Himeji.
