Indian resturant masala — Restaurant in Hiratsuka

This was my first time here!

I arrived just after 9:45 PM!

The waiter who spoke the most Japanese was very kind and explained the menu to me in detail!

Maybe it was because it was close to closing time, but they even offered some service to us new customers!

I go to Indian restaurants quite often, but this place had some unique menu items, which was interesting!

The curry was just my taste and was delicious!!

They even make small portions of naan!

But I got full halfway through, so I left some naan...I felt bad, but I asked if I could take it home, and they agreed!

The restaurant was very quiet, with only the sound of the TV on, and the interior was simple (lol).

But the waiter was very talkative and funny, so I had a lot of fun (lol).

I'd definitely like...

The food was absolutely amazing and very authentic. The owner was very nice and showed and explained the different spices they used in the dish we ordered. Above and beyond customer service and communication despite us not speaking the language! We ordered chicken tikka, mutton biryani, samosas, vegetable pakora and the dal curry. Every dish...

Love this place. Generous portions and genuinely friendly staff. My kids love it too as it feels comfortable & cosy.

My only request is for them to be careful what’s on tv when kids are in the store. One time it showed violent scary scenes from a thriller drama. But generally the tv was fine. Just that...
