Hana — Restaurant in Hiroshima

We asked a local for a recommendation for a good okonomiyaki restaurant and we were told to try Hana Okonomiyaki. The restaurant is well-worth the short five- minute walk from the tram station at Minamimachi 2 Chome. The food was incredibly good and reasonably- priced with large portions. After searching through Okonomimura unsuccessfully for a place to eat, my friends and I came across this ma and pa style okonomiyaki restaurant with the most courteous and welcoming owners and staff.

I got the regular okonomiyaki with vegetables, cheese, kimchi and negi and it was hands down the BEST I’ve ever had in my life....

Ich kann nicht beschreiben was für ein toller Abend es hier war. Das Lokal wurde uns von unserer Host vorgeschlagen und ich bin so glücklich, dass wir uns entschieden haben hierher zu kommen.

Für uns war es das erste mal Okonomiyaki und es war einfach köstlich!

Das Lokal ist sehr klein und hier ist alles auf japanisch (und wir sprechen uns lesen nur ein bisschen), aber die Besitzerin war so herzlich und hat uns beim bestellen sofort geholfen.

Als unser Essen fertig war, wurde uns auch direkt ein Tisch am Grill angeboten und wir kamen mir den Gästen ins Gespräch, das war so liebevoll und lustig, wirklich ein Abend der der Seele viel gegeben hat.

Diesen Abend werde ich in besonderer Erinnerung behalten!
