MIND CAFE & GREEN — Restaurant in Ichikawa

I went on a weekday lunch and had the Chili Burger with a beer. The cafe specialises in burgers and they have a nice variety, traditional ones and if you are feeling tropical for some reason, there’s a Tropicana burger.

The burger is reasonably big, the buns which I think they’re using potato brioche, came nicely toasted. The patty is juicy and with the spicy chili beans sauce, adds some interesting flavor and texture to the burger. The fries are crispy and delicious, a nice compliment to the burger but nothing special. The set doesnt come with sauce so you have to take it yourself at the counter.I think they provide sriracha but there weren’t any then so I just made do with my own mix of Heinz ketchup and mustard. I would say it’s a good burger, not the best and I haven’t tried other options yet but if you’re in the mood for a good burger, I think this would be a good place.

It has outdoor seating but not very large. The interior itself is a reflection of the owner’s interests I think. There’s skateboards on the wall, ficus plants,native American decors, Western and surf-rock music, book albums of beaches on your tables, it’s quite a lot but eating there with good company, they add some color to your conversations. I’m not a fan of the studio lights though. Even in the afternoon, they were too strong.

The owner was the only one there when I went but he looks friendly and approachable, greeted take-out customers as they left the cafe and delivery workers. I was impressed when he gave advice on how to adjust the spice level to a customer who wanted to try something spicy.

個人的にハンバーガーという食べ物は嫌いでした、チェーン店はもとより裏原宿のこだわりの店とやらも美味しいと思った事はありません。 このお店のハンバーガー、美味しいんです！シャキシャキの野菜がたっぷりでエグ味が無くシンプルな味付けの肉々しいハンバーグとソース、挟んであるパンがモチモチしていて美味しい、アメリカンな食べ物なのに全体的に繊細にまとまっていて、某有名チェーン店のような寒気がする漬け物も入っていません。 ハンバーガー久しく食べないので良くわかりませんが、「身体が喜ぶ食べ物」って感じました。 店主の方も解りやすくアドバイスしてくださって息子の分も買って帰ったのですが絶賛でした 付け合せのポテトにケチャップ系のソースがとても美味しくて舐めるように食べてしまいました。 価格はファーストフードの価格では無くお高かったです、ハンバーガーも良い素材を使い丁寧に作り上げたらこの価格になるんだなと納得でした。 お店もオシャレでなぜ行徳にあるのかわからないですが、青山や代官山の方が流行りそうだと思いました こういうお店応援したいです、...

そう思いたかったのですが。。。 注文からハンバーガーが提供されるまでに1時間待ちました。。。

理由はテイクアウトの注文が大量に入っていたため、ということがなんとなくキッチンの雰囲気でわかりましたが、、、

いや、分かってたなら伝えてよ。。。
