Exceptional, worth the journey to dine here. It is just literary accross the street from Wakka hotel accomdation. I had the tempura prawns , seasonal tempura vegetable set. Which included picked vegetable, homemade fish bones miso soup and streamed rice.
The tempura are lighly batter and slowly deep fry, the batter hold well when it been dip in the tentsuyu sauce. There is still crunch from the batter as it slowly melt and desolve like butter. The prawns are succelent, and the tempura vegetable were cook through perfectly.
The miso soup look like ordinary in the mist of miso cloud. In the mist are fish and bones, it added a light umami layer to the soup. The essence of deliciousness hidden with soft tofu dancing in this foggy soup.
For dessert, I had poach mandarin with ice cream. Not a bad way to end the night.
Being the only resturant to be open in the area for dinner. It is worth the experience to write a...

The cartilage was well cooked. My friend said all the fish, including my eel, was very fresh and yummy! Everything was very...

I always appreciate somewhere that gives you plenty of water, it shows they are more concerned with the customer having a good experience rather than trying to squeeze out as much money as possible from people feeling like they need to buy drinks out of thirst instead of for pleasure. Would recommend. Seating is limited (about 14 seats?) and that place is popular, so try make your booking with the nice owner if you know when...
