Hachi cafe Inuyama — Restaurant in Inuyama

The entire place was remodeled recently. I loved this café before ; now every time I go, I add another disappointment to the list.

Before, you could sit wherever, as long as you did not take a four people table if you were by yourself. Now, you can't choose where you sit. The waiter will decide it for you.

Before, the drinks and food were brought at your table by the waiter. Now, you have to get it yourself on a tray. Same when you leave, you now have to bring back the tray.

Before, the drinks were served in washable cups or glasses. Today, I got my drink in a paper cup. The very same I'd get at a combini.

Don't get me wrong. The cakes are still delicious. But although the prices have not gone down, the level of service has plummeted.

I won't go to this café for the nice atmosphere anymore. I might order a full tart someday to take home for a special occasion, maybe. But I don't feel like...

They have such delicious cakes that you'll want to come back again and again. The only inconvenience was that there was no English menu and English speaker but the staff are extremely friendly and kind.✨ The cake also can takeout 🍰 Very recommended 😋👍
