As a Japanese who has had terrible to amazing tempura, I would say this place has one of the worst tempura I have ever had. I cannot believe this place has such high ratings. I ordered a tendon with shrimp, squid and veggie tempura. The shrimp was not well done and had this taste that kills your appetite. I took a bite and set it aside, asking my husband to try his shrimp. He smelt it and made a disgusted look. We told the manager and he told us they were from this morning. This place is a real hidden gem of Ishigaki, and also the best meal of Ishigaki (one of the best of this year as well), during our 5 days stay.
The staffs were so so nice and friendly and I could feel that they genuinely welcome the customers and work with a happy spirit.

We would visit here every week if we live here. 😂 Hope they will stay and run business for a long time. Thank you very much for making our last meal in Ishigaki so...

If you sit too close to the door, you will hear the Don Quixote store's infamous jingle throughout your meal. My wife agrees the tempura is fabulous - better by far than high priced places! Cannot believe this quality food is so...
