Food: The menu is all Japanese--a heads up. Pizza and pasta are split between tomato, oil, and cream base. The dishes on their usual menu are tasty and expected fare. They do so much with the same base ingredients that it is impressive compared to places that use a wide variety of ingredients to less effect. The tapas are a strength in particular and I recommend the bacon and egg skillet. Most notably, their special menu has inventive and ever changing options. The white miso gorgonzola pasta was amazing; I'll definitely return to see what other ideas they come up with. We didn't order from the grill menu this time, but they served an array of meats from A5 beef to chicken, pork, and lamb.
Service: grill menu was brought over once we sat and they have bells at each table with prompt response. Staff were kind and friendly without feeling forced. Our table was cleared by anyone available.
Atmosphere: driving up you pass a bowling alley and a love hotel so my expectations were tampered. However, it lives up to the name with a dreamy night view of the river and patio seating available that I wish to try another time (my visit was winter). Indoors is open and well lit with spacious seating. We saw a year end work event, girls' night out groups, and romantic dates-- it really does appeal...
