This place is a gem!
We arrived early, shortly after opening, and were greeted warmly by a team of two. For a non-Japanese speaker, the simplicity of the experience is very appealing: as long as you can order a lemon sour and say "mmm!" as each skewer of chicken arrives, you'll have a great time. (The lemon sour really is recommended: tart citrus cuts against the savoriness of the skewers in a nice way.)
Our dinner was a tour of the whole animal, from breast to neck to heart to liver, and gizzard too. Less adventurous eaters might ask to avoid the liver and gizzard; but honestly, everything else, even parts unfamiliar to many/most American eaters, are perfectly palatable and "chicken-y".
