Very nice view of the ocean and could see enoshima island from their outdoor seating. I ordered the bucatini amatriciana and paired it with their white wine (pinot blanco).
The pasta was good and mostly authentic. They swapped out guanciale for pancetta but it was still p good. Both the pancetta and pecorino romano was super fragrant and superb. The pasta was alittle undercooked though. Wine recommended was great at 880¥. They have a mid range of wine selections but only 2 red, sparkling and white are sold per glass. Overall a good meal! Most of the other patrons seems to be local japanese. haha i found it quite interesting that the servers are dressed like chefs so i thought they were chefs as well(?) Some of the chefs also serve dishes so im intrigued
Some servers were not welcoming but one was nice enough to explain everything to me in english. They only have an ala carte english menu but the rest have italian labels....
Read moreI’ve gone a number of times over the past few years and the food is always great. Their cook is talented and gifted with Italian food. I went with my daughter for lunch and we sat on the new terrace. We waited 50 minutes for our entrees after we ordered- basically an hour after we sat down. It was a holiday and they were busy, but maybe they struggle with the additional seats. They didn’t offer us refills or bread or water (we didn’t receive any water actually). Basically just avoided eye contact with us until the food came. My other foreign friend mentioned he had a similar experience there recently too. Too bad- used to be such a nice restaurant. I won’t go again, as there are other nice restaurants...

<サービス> 予約の時から非常に親切でフレンドリーなコミュニケーションでした。お酒、お食事、すべてウエイター様のお勧めを注文しましたが、好み通りのものを選んでいただけました!
<お料理> アンティパスとからデザートまで幸せになる食事でした。 1)前菜 前菜盛り合わせ5品 1皿300円―500円程度の物をショーケースから見て選べる 2)サラダ パルミジャーノとマッシュルームのサラダ 3)メイン 牛肉のカツレツ 4)ピッザ ゴルゴンザーラといちじくのピッツア 5)パスタ イカ墨のパスタ 6)コーヒー、チョコレート風味のチーズケーキ
1)前菜盛り合わせは、タコのマリネとホタテのジェノベーゼ味のものが最高でした。カポナータも安定の美味しさ。
2)マッシュルームのサラダは、パルミジャーノチーズが美味しく、癖になりそう。もう一皿いけそうなサラダでした。 3)カツレツ。脂っぽくなく、あさっりとした触感。 4)ピッツアは、薄い生地。もちもちではなく、どちらかというかクリスピーな感じでした。ゴルゴンゾーラがたくさん入ってて、トッピングのハチミツがこれまた美味でした。 5)イカ墨パスタはお店の1番人気。パスタが固ゆでです。そのためかソースがパスタに良く絡まっていました。 6)チーズケーキは、ほんのりチョコ味の濃厚チーズ。チーズケーキ好きにはぜひ試していただきたいケーキ。
あまりにも美味しかったので、早速1週間後に予約を入れました。次回はランチを堪能してきます。
This is the first 5 star restaurant since I started living in Kamakura.
From the moment I booked a place over the phone, the staff wasa very welcoming and friendly. When I walked in the restaurant, I was glad I chose this place. Very detail orientated and well manared.
1)Antipasto: fresh octopus. Seafood. Caponata. 2)Salad: Mushroom and Parmesan cheese and leaves. 3)Beef Cutlet: Although it is fried but it tasted very light and juicy. 4)Pizza: Thin sliced crispy pizza. Great amount of Gongonzola cheese. 5)Pasta: squid ink spaghetti. Spaghetti was under boiled, but its well blended with squid sauce. Very unique and unforgettable. 6) Cheese cake with Chocolate flavor. Thick cheese case. If you are a cheesecake lover, I will highly recomend this.
Definitely a 5 star restraunt. I have alredy made a booking in 7days!! Next time I will try out the lunch...
